Margaret M. Grow Summer Camp
The Margaret M. Grow Youth Camp for the Arts will be June 5th-9th, 2023, 8:45am-1:00pm, at the Old School Commons auditorium in Byhalia. Registration forms for kids 8-16 are available in the link above or porch pickup at 2625 Church Street, Byhalia. Drama students will learn and perform Magic Tree House Pirates Past Noon. Visual students will receive instruction in acrylics, watercolor, pottery and mixed media. Cost $25 per child, $60 per family (3 or more children).
The Art Connection School Program
The Art Connection,designed to supplement the arts program in public schools, began in October 2013.
This program is made possible from funding from the Byhalia Lions Club and is coordinated by the Byhalia Area Arts Council.
The art classes are taught during activity periods at Byhalia Middle School on Wed of each week to grade 6-8 levels. Instructor and materials as well as lesson plans are developed by the BAAC.
